Curious Arts Middlesbrough Youth Group – 2nd Saturday of each month

Curious Arts Youth Group was established to create a safe space where LGBTQIA+ and/or gender non-conforming young people feel supported and comfortable to connect with one another whilst exploring their creativity.

Guided by Group Leader Audrey and Co-Facilitated by Harrison we’ll meet once a month to catch-up with each other, whilst taking part in fun creative activities and be inspired by exploring different art-forms with guest artists. From arts and crafts to creative writing, film making and performance!

Curious Youth Music is a group for LGBTQIA+ Musicians and Aspiring Producers aged 12-19.

Led by Curious Arts, Curious Youth Music is a safe space to share your passion for music. Come along to our weekly meet-ups to meet fellow music fans, have jam sessions, develop your songwriting and work with professional musicians. Learn more about the music industry and work together to put on gigs and choose the line-up for local events and festivals!

Gender Identity Research and Education Society(GIRES) – UK Wide

GIRES is a UK wide organisation whose purpose is to improve the lives of trans and gender diverse people of all ages, including those who are non-binary and non-gender. GIRES is a professionally managed membership charity supported by volunteers that, in collaboration with other groups in its field, hears, helps, empowers and gives a voice to trans and gender diverse individuals, including those who are non-binary and non-gender, as well as their families. We use evidence from individuals’ lived experiences, combined with scientific research into gender identity development, to educate all those who are able to improve trans and gender diverse individuals’ wellbeing. We contribute to policy development regarding equality and human rights for individuals, especially in healthcare. We also deliver training, e-learning and information to public and private sector organisations, including supporting trans and gender diverse employees or students.

Let’s Get Beverages Together – Every third Tuesday at 7pm, every last Saturday at 2pm – Westlands, Yeovil

“Let’s Get Beverages Together” is a friendly, informal meet up every third Tuesday of the month. It’s important for people to have a safe space where they can connect with other people who have similar experiences. The LGBT+ community is a spectrum and no two of us are the same, but it’s great to come together and be your authentic selves in a supportive and welcoming environment. On Saturdays we now run an additional session focused on an activity such as reading, crafting or gaming.

LGBTQ+ Social Group North Wales – every few months in person, North West Wales

OutBurst (Base 51) – For ages 11-15, weekly on Tuesday from 5pm-7pm – For 16-21 years weekly on Wednesday from 5pm-7pm

Whether it’s with help understanding your new feelings as an 11-15 year old, or learning about LGBTQIA+ equality and sexual health as a 16-21 year old, OutBurst has it all! We provide a safe space to express yourself, make friends and join in with a wide range of activities, as well as getting access to 1-2-1 support and signposting to a wider range of LGBTQIA+ focused services. Phoenix Trans – Every Sunday, alternating 7-9pm or 1-3 pm

We have some online but mostly local venues. Mainly Darlington for now but open to the whole of North Yorkshire and North East Area.

We currently run peer support community open to trans and non-binary people, friends family and allies. We offer social groups in a mix of private and public settings to allow members to gain confidence in there own selfimage and identity, whilst having fun. We incurage members to help each other through the process and stay to build a thriving community of knolage and experience. Clubs included pub social, coffee and cake, book club, wool craft. Then we have occasional enrichment event eg day of visability egg swap, Christmas meals.

Rainbow Call Companions – Once a week, 30 -60 mins phone call

Phone call to a lonely older person who is part of the LGBT+ community. Aimed at helping to alleviate loneliness and isolation in older people aged 75+. For more information contact Helen:
