Meet The Team

Here are some details about the individuals that make up our co-operative:

ANDREW CULL, Arcus – FdA, Counselling, M.N.C.S.

Hi and welcome! I am the principle counsellor here at Arcus and take care of most of the day to day running as well as the clinical supervision. I am a fully qualified therapist and specialise mainly in CBT although overall I prefer an integrative approach, as one style does not fit everyone! I am registered with the National Counselling Society as an Accredited Member.

I find my unique style and gentle sense of humour warms through with all my clients as I help them progress from where they are, to where they want to be. Therapy is a collaborative exercise but you are the expert on you.

My areas of speciality include LGBT, Anxiety, Depression; I also have a long history of working with acute presentations of suicidal and self harm behaviour.

If you want to make a referral you can do this by completing the Arucs referral form and marking it for my attention. You can access the form by clicking here.

SARAH HENDERSON, Waterfall Wellbeing – FdA in Counselling, Individual Member of BACP

Hello and welcome.  I am Sarah a fully qualified Counsellor and a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and I uphold its Ethical Framework.  I have substantial experience of working with both Adults and young people, especially within the LGBT+ community.

I offer confidential, genuine and non-judgemental face to face personal therapy and my work is predominately Person-Centred, meaning the emphasis is on you as an individual and you wholly.  We shall work together to build upon a therapeutic relationship which will help to develop your own understanding of self.

My role as a counsellor is not to offer advice but to assist people gain an insight into their feelings and behaviours.  I help people identify and achieve their personal goals by coping with the issues that are causing them distress, anxiety and stress.  There may be times within my practice whereby I integrate other therapies such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), but this depends on the individual client’s needs. I take great pride in the progress and success of my clients and look forward to helping you.
