Hey awesome kids!
Did you know that from 3rd to 9th February 2025 it’s Children’s Mental Health Week? It’s a whole week dedicated to celebrating how amazing your minds are, and how important it is to look after them, just like you brush your teeth and eat your veggies!
This year’s theme is “Know Yourself, Grow Yourself”. That means learning all about what makes you YOU – your feelings, your dreams, your likes and dislikes. And guess what? Just like a plant, you need the right things to help you grow strong and healthy.
Here are some fun ways to celebrate Children’s Mental Health Week:
- Talk about your feelings: Share how you’re feeling with a grown-up you trust, like a parent, teacher, or friend. It can be happy stuff, sad stuff, or anything in between!
- Get creative: Draw a picture, write a story, or make some music about how you’re feeling.
- Move your body: Exercise is like magic for your mind! Go for a walk, dance around your room, or play your favourite sport.
- Be kind to yourself: Everyone makes mistakes, and that’s okay! Learn from them and keep trying your best.
- Connect with others: Spend time with friends and family, play games, and have fun!
Remember, it’s always okay to ask for help if you’re feeling worried or sad. There are lots of grown-ups who care about you and want to help you feel better.

So, let’s make this Children’s Mental Health Week the best one yet! Let’s learn about ourselves, grow together, and have lots of fun along the way!
