Well what a year 2024 was for Arcus LGBT CIC, a fresh start was made at the beginning of the year and wow did we start to flourish.
We worked alongside many local grass root organisations, local council, local Police.
We set up the following:
Online youth group
Counselling for Children & Young People Service
Trauma-Informed Counselling Service
There was an uptake in new volunteers, clients and potential new organisations wanting to collaborate and work with us.
At the end of the year we however had some sad news that our Managing Director Andi Cull who originally set up our wonderful company, decided to retire from the organisation. All the ‘Arcus Family’ would like to wish Andi all the best for his future and he will be greatly missed.
Upon his departure, Sarah Henderson our Deputy MD has now taken on the MD role and is looking forward to seeing what new opportunities arise for the organisation both locally and nationally.
