I am a qualified therapist, specialising in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. I continue to progress my training in relevant areas to keep me up to date, fresh and relevant. I also hold full insurance for my practice and I am DBS checked to enhanced level. My main areas that I work with are LGBT+ Issues; Anxiety, Depression, Self Harm, Suicidal Behaviour however Cognitive Behaviour Therapy can be used for a wide range of problems, if you are not sure, contact me and we can discuss this. I like to keep therapy informal so offer sessions that are scheduled around you. I believe that therapy is a necessity not a luxury! As I work from home I am very flexible as to when I can see clients; this means that I can see people out of hours and from any area in the UK as I use remote services such as video links and phone to speak to clients.

My role as a counsellor is not to offer advice but to assist people gain an insight into their feelings and behaviours. I help people identify and achieve their personal goals by coping with the issues that are causing them distress, anxiety and stress. Hello, I am a qualified therapeutic Counsellor, fully insured and hold an up to date enhanced DBS. I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) which is the leading professional association for members of the counselling profession in the United Kingdom. The modality of therapies that I use are Person Centred and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) . At present I am studying a Diploma to specialise in CBT. The mixture of therapies used allows me to work with a client’s needs through this non-judgemental integrative approach.
